Finora is built local-first: the content of your finances stays on your device. The app does talk to three third-party services — usage analytics, subscription validation and a font download — and this policy explains each of them, and what they do and do not receive, in plain terms.
Every transaction, budget, goal and category you create in Finora is stored only on your device. We operate no servers that hold your financial data, there are no user accounts, and we have no access to it. It is never transmitted, sold, or shared. Deleting the app deletes the data (use Settings → Export CSV first if you want a backup).
So we can see which features people actually use and where the app confuses them, Finora sends anonymous usage events to Amplitude. These events record things like when the app is opened, which screens are viewed, and whether the subscription screen was shown or dismissed. Alongside them Amplitude receives an app-generated device identifier, your device model and OS version, and an approximate region derived from your IP address.
These events never contain the content of your finances. No transaction amounts, no category names you typed, no goal names, no balances, no notes. Your budget cannot be reconstructed from this data.
This data is used only to improve Finora. It is not sold, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
Finora Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription processed entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases; it receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipts — never your financial records or identity. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never visible to us. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel; you can cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Finora is set in the Inter typeface, which the app downloads from Google's font service (Google Fonts) the first time it is needed and then caches on the device. That request carries only what any web request carries — your IP address and the name of the font file. No app data, and nothing about your finances, is sent with it.
Finora is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
